Fern Tree Park is a Three Star graded resort consisting of cottages designed on a theme of the turn of the century mining settlement.

They nestle in a tranquil and historical parkland setting where prospectors of old used to camp. Fern Tree Park has been decorated to offer unique and attractive self-contained accommodation. The cottages are fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and modern conveniences that ensure that you will be cool in summer and warm in winter, so that you can be certain of a relaxing holiday.

Each cottage has hand crafted appointments and brass beds that provide the ambiance of the old mining days. Fully equipped with linen, the bedrooms are serviced for your convenience each day. You can braai (barbecue), or sit on the veranda and watch the sun set on the beautiful mountains and forests of the Mpumalanga Lowveld.

There is also a swimming pool, volley ball court and children’s swings on the premises.Fern Tree Park is located outside Sabie and therefore offers a quiet atmosphere enhanced by the surrounding forest. Fern Tree Park has a fully equipped riding school and all horse riding facilities are available for use by guests. We have extensive trails on the property and can provide hours of relaxing rides.
